GHOST (1990 from Paramount Pictures)

GHOST is one of my favorite movies from Paramount Pictures. I watched it when my mom owns the bootleg copy of the VHS videotape. The stories and scenes are interesting.

The guy named Sam Wheat had a good relationship with Molly, until they were mugged and Sam was killed and died. Sam was stuck on Earth and couldn’t get into heaven. Here’s what scenes I like best, anything that has to do with trains or subway because I was a rail fan or buff. When Sam follows the mugger named Willie to his apartment and when Sam is taught to interact with objects when he was a ghost.

The actor Vincent Schiavelli really played a good scene, especially the “GET OFF MY TRAIN”. The film’s location is 42nd Street Port Authority Bus Terminal on the lower level which is no longer used in the present year.

Another favorite scene is the computer when Sam frightened the guy named Carl typing the computer as Carl finds out that his millions of dollars is gone thanks to Sam’s work with a psychic reader named Oda Mae Brown played by Whoopi Goldberg. The best of all scenes, “Spooked” is my favorite one. I used to upload that clip on my channel but when YouTube deletes my videos for copyright infringement, I also deleted it as well preventing to get another copyright strike. Paramount Pictures could have flagged BOTH videos for just 1 copyright strike.

In Spooked chapter, Willie tries to find Oda with Carl, then traps Willie in Oda’s apartment and Willie runs and freaks out. Willie was later hit by a car and died.

It’s one of the best movies of all time during the 1990’s but I wanted to own a DVD of my own since the VHS have no use of this present time line. The DVD version included the French dub of the movie which I find interesting along with French subtitles. A recommended movie to have in your collection.
